About This Tool
This tool puts you in control of your image's color palette. Using CSS3 hardware-accelerated filters, you can shift the entire color spectrum (Hue) or adjust the intensity of colors (Saturation) without losing resolution.
How to Use
- Upload: Drag your photo into the area above.
- Hue: Slide to rotate colors. This is great for changing the color of an object (e.g., turning a red car blue).
- Saturation: Slide right to make colors vivid, or left to fade them out (0% is black and white).
- Download: Save your newly colored image.
FAQ
What is Hue?
Hue represents the actual color value. Rotating the hue shifts all colors around the color wheel. For example, a 180° shift turns red to cyan, and green to magenta.
Does Saturation affect quality?
Increasing saturation too much (over 150%) can cause "color banding" or noise artifacts, but it does not reduce the image resolution.
